Metals

Only the finest materials are used to create Blacklock Jewellery. Only the most precious of metals will do justice to our diamonds and gemstones. We use precious metal refiners of the highest integrity who guarantee that the platinum and gold that we use in Blacklock Jewellery is of a standard that is beyond reproach and ethically clean.

Diamonds

All of our diamonds and gemstones are selected under the strictest of guidelines set down by Ralph Blacklock. Ralph works to an old family adage that ‘diamonds should speak to you’. He employs this principle when viewing stones and only selects gemstones that have remarkable ‘life’ and sparkle. All of our stones are ethically sourced and conflict free.

Design

Designing jewellery is the cornerstone of what we offer. We guarantee that each of our bespoke designs are unique. Each piece is designed and created by following a rigorous design process that allows free-flowing collaboration and creativity from the Designer and you.

Craftmanship

All of our jewellery is made in the UK. Once cast, each individual piece is checked by the designer who has created it. After approval the piece is then set with the selected diamonds and gemstones. It is then sent for hallmarking. Upon return each item is then hand cleaned and polished to the highest standards.

Finishing and Final Check

Each piece is inspected and scrutinised by Ralph Blacklock before it is presented to you. Ralph checks all the settings, the gemstones and diamonds to ensure the overall integrity of the piece. Once the final check has been completed we mark it with our ‘RB’ signature and a unique number that identifies each item. Your piece of Blacklock Jewellery is now ready for presentation.

Pricing

Each diamond or piece of jewellery sold is priced fairly and according to current industry prices. Each piece of commissioned jewellery is priced in relation to the time spent on design, weight of gold or platinum employed, the cost of diamonds and/or gemstones, hallmarking, additional fittings and setting and finishing. Each loose diamond is priced competitively using the latest industry diamond prices. Prices are updated weekly.
