Our founder, Robert March Blacklock, established Blacklock Jewellery in 1832 in Bedford Street, Sunderland. His aim was to bring to the North of England the opportunity to buy beautiful, refined jewellery. Blacklock's became established as one of the first diamond merchants in the North of England.
Today, six generations and more than 175 years on, Blacklock Jewellery is still family-owned, operating out of the North of England and London. We create bespoke jewellery with a personal touch, led by our customers and refined and finished to the highest possible standards.
