Credit Card Fraud Prevention Extra security measures have been put into place for cards issued from overseas banks and for customers that ask us to ship to a different name and/or address than is listed for that particular credit card account. If your order falls into one of these categories then your order is immediately placed into our Credit Card Fraud Prevention Queue. The following steps must then be taken to move your order out of this Queue and on to normal processing: 1. Your credit card will be debited a randomly selected amount. This amount will vary from order to order for your protection, and is 100% applied to your purchase. When the need to do this arises you will be notified via email. 2. Next, simply contact your issuing bank, or check your monthly statement for your unique debit (these usually show up within 4 business days). Once you have the unique debit amount, return to your "My Account" page and enter the amount where indicated. 3. Once the random debit amount is verified, we will charge the balance and ship your order the same day. Once again this procedure only applies to credit cards issued from overseas banks and for customers that ask us to ship to a different name and/or address than is listed for that particular credit card account. These measures eliminate any unauthorized use of your card, so shopping with us is always safe and secure. Terms and Conditions Warranty Your piece of jewellery is guaranteed under warranty for one year from the date of final invoice. If your piece of jewellery is found to have a defect in material or workmanship within twelve months of supply we will repair such a defect without charge for materials or labour. In the event that the piece of jewellery cannot be repaired then Blacklock Jewellery will replace the piece with an identical or near identical piece. Your guarantee is invalidated if you allow a third party to work on the item that we have made for you. If your item is altered by a third party Blacklock Jewellery will not be liable for any subsequent problems with the item. In the event of a dispute as to the cause of damage, we reserve the right to send any item to a mutually agreed independent third party assessor to determine the nature of the defect. Only if the judgement indicates a defect in material or workmanship will Blacklock Jewellery agree to repair the item. It is the customers responsibility to order the correct finger size. A ring size can be altered after production, however a charge will be made and this will be subject to the type of the resizing. Please inform us within seven days of delivery. Examination When a piece of jewellery or loose diamond or gemstone is sent to us we will examine it to determine the correct way to proceed. A quotation will be submitted by blacklockjewellery.com once the item of jewellery has been examined by a working jeweller or the gemstone assessed by our gemmologist. The examination process may take upto 2 weeks for the quotation to be confirmed. If stones need to be tested there may be an additional cost. We do however, maintain a controlled amount of stock for our showcase pieces. Whilst we do our very best to ensure that there is an accurate inventory for your shopping ease, showcase pieces do sell out. This usually happens when two or more customers order the same item at the same time, before our website has been updated. If this happens you will be notified in a timely manner (usually the same or next day), and we will offer you suggestions on fulfilment of your order. Diamond, Gemstone and Precious metal prices Diamond, gemstone and precious metal prices stated on the website are subject to change at any time without notice.
